Hi,

My blog logicalmoviereviews.com is in danger. Every time i want to a new post or edit a post the server throws an internal server error. I have over 2k posts on my blog.

I use godaddy VPS server so there is no issue with the bandwidth. I have other websites on the same server and they are not hosted using wordpress and they all work fine.

The database if perfectly fine. Even the website works fine. Only the dashboard that is causing the isssue. I disabled all the plugins and tried still the same issue.

Can anyone suggest me what should i do next? Will installing the wordpress core again solve my issue without loosing the data?

Hi,

In my error logs I get this error

mod_fcgid: read data timeout in 45 seconds
Premature end of script headers: post.php, referer: http://www.mywebsite.com/wp-admin/post-new.php?wp-post-new-reload=true

How Can I resolve these errors. These errors get popped up only when I am adding a new post or editing previous posts. And I get "500 internal server error"

Can anyone help me out in resolving this issue? My site is hosted on godaddy on VPS (virtual private server).

Just a heads up, I received an Internal Server Error accessing the Themes Customizer in Divi 2.4.6.4).

1. I Accessed the Theme Customizer in Divi, it returned the 500 Internal Server Error.
2. De-Activated the Feed Them Social Plug-in.
3. Returned to the Theme Customizer, functioned as expected, with no noticeable errors.
4. Reactivated the Feed Them Social Plug-in. Returned the 500 Internal server Error when the Themes Customizer was accessed.

Looking forward to the update for WP 4.3. Thanks for an overall great plug-in. The word on the street is to wait a while to install the WP 4.3 plug-in.

Yesterday evening I installed the W3 Total Cache plugin version 0.9.4.1 on my Wordpress MU 4.4.2 config and when I activated it my website went down with a 500 Internal Sever Error. My webhosting provider - based on the error logs I provided - said that my .htaccess file had become corrupted because of php-flag or php_value code. So I removed all php code from my .htaccess file and my website is back up again.Seems to me that the W3 Total Cache plugin corrupted the .htaccess file, no?

* W3 Total Cache Plugin version 0.9.4.1

Hello,

I've seen this problem posted a few times, but always with temporary fixes.
Is there a permanent fix to allow me to use this option, or will the plugin be updated to resolve this error?

I'm having a spot of trouble with this plugin when Browser Caching is enabled. It adds the following code to .htaccess, which crashes the entire server, giving me a 500 error:

When I go to APPEARANCE / CUSTOMIZE my admin area goes into an eternal loop
between SAVED and SAVE & PUBLISH -- then gives me a 500 internal server error.
I have been able to customize since I installed it over a year ago. Don't know when loop started, because only notice when I go into Customize area.

fyi: I just updated wp version to 4.4.2 was 4.4.1

Have same theme on another blog and it is not giving me this problem. Both have same customizations.

Really want to avoid rebuilding, the site is over a year old. Got any suggestions?

After deactivating and activating woocommerce's plugin, my wp site generates a 500 internal server error.I had functional shop but reactivating WOOC plugin causes this problem.

I was trying to install WooCommerce, but when I try to activate it, I get a 500 Internal Server Error. I've tried installing it via the Plugin Search in the admin panel, and FTP, but both result in the same error.
I've tried deactivate all the plugins-no result. I've tried delete plugins from the FTP - no result..
I've tried increasing the memory limit in the wp-config file using define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M');, but that didn't solve the problem either.
To try to get more out of the 500 error page I enabled debug mode, but that didn't result in any more information being displayed.

Any ideas as to why it won't activate?

Having troubles loading to the next month

I have published about 60+ events in The Events Calendar. About 15-20 events per month for four months, with some days having two events on them, but when I go to the site and click to see the next months events the page just sits and loads. Also when I go to Appearance - Customize I get an 500 Internal Server Error.

Any ideas

I installed WordPress and designed two full sites on ci.coynetrucks.com and ct.coynetrucks.com. They were functioning fine.

Then I installed WordPress on the parent site, coynetrucks.com. That site is live and functioning, but it broke the two subdomain sites. They now read "500 (Internal Server) Error."

The .htaccess file on the parent site reads:

The .htaccess file on the ct subdomain is identical to the parent file. And, oddly enough, there is no .htaccess file on the ci subdomain. (It's possible that I accidentally deleted it, but I have no memory of doing so.)

Windurin on "Cannot Activate Plugins. Getting 500 Internal Sever Error"

As of today I've found that I cannot Activate any Plugins. I installed a new one successfully but when I tried to Activate it I got the message:

'The lifeisstrangefans.com page isn't working. lifeistrangefans.com is currently unable to handle this request.'

I tried it with other Plugins an it's the same. I can Deactivate Plugins but trying to Activate them again comes up with the same error.

- I've checked htaccess file and it doesn't seem corrupt. Also tried creating a new one by renaming the old one and saving Permalinks.
- I already have a high WP PHP Memory Limit

But it does seem like it could be memory related?

Anyone have any ideas on this please? Thanks.

I am trying to test WooPOS with my existing WooCommerce/WordPress installed at http://riversidebargains.mbhconsulting.com.au/
My WooCommerce install is working fine and I have tested it with a product, but as soon as I install with the free version of WooPOS and try and activate it, it errors and give 500 Internal Server Error.
I have PHP 5.4. I am running latest WordPress version on Godaddy.com hosting on the Ultimate Windows Plesk Plan.
Please advise how I can overcome this issue?

Hello,

I installed this plugin and activated it. Right away my site went down and I got a 500 Internal Server Error.
Removed the plugin and all other plugins from my wp-content but still can't fix the error!

This advice is not working to fix the issue!
"If you meet any problem after installing, please don't panic, just uninstall the plugin and it will be ok. No any data loss will happen. But if you can't even access wp-admin, then just remove the plugin via ftp, then open wp-admin->settings->permalinks, press to "Save changes" button"

Please help!! Cannot login to my site!!!

But when WPS Hide Login activate, 500 Internal Server Error happens:

The function is_plugin_active_for_network() should be checked before using as follows:

I'm having an issue in version 1.25.0 where jobs are not returned to the page if all job type filters(full time, part time, etc.) are checked. If I uncheck any of the filters, the results return to the page without issue.

I deactivated all plugins with the exception of WP Job Manager, activated the twentysixteen theme and reset permalinks to no avail.

I can see in the dev tools console the following error:
jquery.min.js:4 POST https://gpy.roofmart.ca/jm-ajax/get_listings/ 500 (Internal Server Error)

The plugin has been functioning flawlessly since our site launched back in March. However, as of yesterday the home page that uses the FTS shortcodes consistently creates a 500 Internal Server Error unless the plugin is deactivated.

Any thoughts as to what may be going on? We hope this can be resolved as we are seeing a large discussion across social media due to a company campaign that started just yesterday.

I moved my site to another server. Copied the files and export and import mysql database. It is looks like working, but if I make changes on one codelights page element, or add new codelights widget, when I updeting the page it couses the folowing error:
500 Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request

when i use anithing else widgets or not modifying codelights widget, or just duplicating codelights widget everithing is fine.

have U got any idea to solve this problem?

I went to exclude another plugin's cache folder from file change scanning (the plugin was WPtouch), and right after hitting "Save Changes," my site immediately returned a 500 Internal Server Error. I logged in via FTP and the only change made was to my .htaccess file, but I do not know WHAT was changed within that file. Permissions seems to be correct. Renaming the plugin folder via FTP to disable iThemes Security also had no effect. Please help!
